This cricketer apologizes to KCA for his inappropriate behavior


Sanju Samson, who has made an apology to the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) and its chief for his inappropriate behavior during the ongoing season of the Ranji Trophy 2016-17.

Samson sent an e-mail to KCA, where he has accepted all charges leveled against him by the KCA. He has also requested the state cricket body to allow him devoid of more penalizing action because it was his first-time wrongdoing.

The Kerala batsman, who articulated deep regret for his manner this season, seeing this it, indicates that the state cricket body can become softer its stand and possibly will now allow to the cricketer leave with a warning.

Although, TC Mathew, president of the Kerala Cricket Association, who confirmed to Times of India that he, had received a mail tendering request for forgiveness from Sanju Samson, he wasn’t ready to disclose further procedure of action.

On December 1, 2016, the TOI had reported that TR Balakrishnan headed a four-member panel, which had comprised by the KCA to investigate various allegations of the misbehavior against Sanju Samson this season.

In Mumbai, after being sent away with easy in the Ranji Trophy game against Goa, a clarification was sought from Sanju on his illegal absence from the team and his rampant conduct in the dressing room.

During a telephonic conversation with KCA president, TC Mathew abused by Sanju Samson’s father Samson Viswanath, because of which the four-member panel was also looking into the allegation for that.

As Sanju was requested to come out before the panel the next day, the coach, captain, and manager of the Kerala Ranji Trophy team had called by the inquiry committee to be present in Thiruvananthapuram on December 22.

Meanwhile, Delhi Daredevils decided to retain Sanju for the next season of the Indian Premier League.
