The Aamir Khan-starred Dangal has dethroned  PK at the box office and has become the highest grossing Hindi film of all times. The biographical sports drama film has become the first movie to cross Rs 350-crore mark.  As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Dangal had surpassed the record of Rs 340.8 Crore. This is the first time that the Movie that a Bollywood movie joined the such a distinguished club. “#Dangal has collected a WHOPPING ₹ 31.79 cr in 3rd Weekend, Fri 6.66 cr, Sat 10.80 cr, Sun 14.33 cr. Total: ₹ 345.30 cr. India biz. ATBB,” he tweeted.

The film is also creating waves in the overseas market, it has collected Rs 180.58 crore till now. Dangal has also emerged to be the highest grossing Hindi film in USA-Canada and Australia too. Taran wrote,“#Dangal – OVERSEAS – Total till Sun, 8 Jan: $ 26.47 million [₹ 180.58 cr]… Crosses $ 11 million in USA-Canada. AWESOME!”
