Mumbai Indian’s become the third time Indian Premier League Champions and real hero’s of the teams were the bowlers who defended a low scoring match against Rising Pune Supergiants. Rohit Sharma won the match last night, though their batsman failed to put up a fighting total but it was the bowler who had come to tram rescue and the final match by one run. The star of the match was Mumbai India pacer, Mitchell Johnson (3/26) who bowled tightly and defended 11 of the last over.

The said match was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday and the match was indeed the closest final in the history of the tournament. The game became a thriller encounter during the last over as Mumbai Indians 7 runs were needed off 4 balls and it looked like RPS were all set to win their maiden title. In this said moment the cameraperson shifted their feed towards Mumbai India stands where a senior lady was seen praying in the Mumbai Indians’ stand.

Within a few minute, the said picture went viral and a hashtag ‘Prayer Aunty’ started trending on the social media. It seems that prayers of the ‘Aunty’ were heard by the Gods and Mumbai Indian won the thrilling encounter by just one run and lifted their third IPL trophy. Bollywood actor who was thrilled that his favorite team has won the IPL and further revealed the identity of the ‘Prayer aunty’.

The Guru actor took to social media and was quoted saying that, “”That is Mrs. Ambani’s mother. Popularly referred to as “nani”. The lucky charm.”

Mumbai Indian Skipper, Rohit Sharma created history by becoming IPL Champion. Rohit Sharma has become the first captain to win the title three times. The hitman has even won the prestigious trophy as a player way back in 2009 when he played for Deccan Chargers.
