The wait is finally over. Akshay Kumar last night unveiled the trailer of his social satirical next project titled Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
The movie Leading pair Akshay Kumar & Bhumi Pednekar took to social media to release the trailer of the movie. The movie is a social satire that highlights an important topic which has been plaguing a section of the country, especially in the rural areas and small towns. The movie stresses the importance to develop the sanitation conditions at home, with stress on the reduction of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India.
The writers of the movie should be applauded for mixing such a resilient theme and overlying it with some wonderful lines and dialogues.
The trailer starts with Akshay who is essaying the role who essays the role of Keshav and the only thing he dreams of is to get married but doesn’t find a match as he is a Manglik. But once he meets Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) and falls in love. Though in the movie Keshav plays a simpleton while Jaya is an open-minded and a liberal individual. All seems to be hunky dory post until Jaya is asked to go defecate in the open
All hell break loose and fight erupts between the couple to develop the sanitation conditions at home, with stress on the reduction of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India. Keshav and Jaya challenge to bring a change in their family’s mentality and take on a political battle over open defecation and sanitation
