Former Indian Cricekt Captain, achieved another feet when he became the first wicketkeeper in ODI cricket history to complete 100 stumpings. He reached this landmark when he stumped Akila Dananjaya off the bowling of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal during the fifth ODI match against Sri Lanka. MS Dhoni became the first to achieve the feat, surpassing former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara who had 99 stumpings to his name.

Delhi Times took to social media to have a special message for actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who took up the mantle to play the phenomenal one, the former India Limited over Captain, in MS Dhoni Biopic. The leading news agency captioned as, “Hey, it is just going on and on. Time for you to prepare for your role in the sequel, what say? :)”. Sushant was quick to reort and replied back. He wrote, “Humara Mann kehta he ye itne me se khush hone Wala nahin he.A true patriot, master cricketer & a wonderful human. Congratulations #Dhoni300″. Clearly, all Dhoni’s fans can expect a sequel to it in the coming time.”

During a recent interaction with the media, Sushant Singh Rajput was quoted saying that Sachin Tendulkar saw him bat and work nuances to get the batting technique correct. While reminiscing the said moment, he revealed that “There was this one incident that gave me an immense amount of confidence just before the start of the film. I was practicing at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) with Kiran More, and Sachin Tendulkar was sitting in the first row. Sachin was watching his son on the next wicket. It was last 15 minutes of my practice, I could hit the ball wherever I wanted. There were helicopter shots, and I went on hitting.”

Kai Po Che actor further added that “I was enjoying it because I always wanted to play cricket and I could never get into my school team. Sachin walked down, he walked up to Kiran More and asked him who I was representing, because, at the MCA, only the professionals who play for the state are allowed. But Kiran told him that I was an actor and I was playing Dhoni. Sachin didn’t say anything but that expression on his face was priceless, it said everything.”
