After a gap of five years, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are reuniting on the big screen for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai , and their fans are excited AF. It’s not every day that you get to see rumoured ex-lovers on screen, but Zafar managed to pull this off when he decided to cast them together in the sequel to the 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. Ali Abbas Zafar had earlier directed Katrina Kaif in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Salman Khan in last year’s blockbuster Sultan, both produced by YRF, who is also producing Tiger Zinda Hai.

Zafar took to Twitter to tease the fans of the franchise, and wrote, “Arre bhai Sabko pata hai 22 Dec ko @TigerZindaHai as rahi hai. Bahut kaam chal raha hai, abhi Diwali aa rahi hai… kuch gift toh milega.” Now what does that mean? Well, as per a source close to the movie, we EXCLUSIVELY came to know that the makers are planning to release the first poster of the movie on Diwali.
When in an interview Ali zafar was asked to share his experience about shooting with Salman and Katrina , he said “Shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai was gruelling, challenging and a whole lot of fun. We’ve shot across pristine, relatively unseen locations in Austria, Morocco and shot on a huge lot in Abu Dhabi along with other spots. Right from the infrastructure, to the support that the local military has given us, shooting here was smooth and a great collaborative experience. Tiger and Zoya’s second outing is going to be larger than life, and the shoot lives up to that.”
The film is set to hit the screens on December 22.
