Kunwar Amarjeet Singh is a popular name in TV industry. He started his career with small screen as a participant of India’s most popular dance reality show which named ‘Dance India Dance’ where he grab more popularity.
He has also hosted Sadda Haq Season 2 Countdown. He also worked in a star plus serial ‘Naamkaran’ as Aladin. From being a part of a cultural festival in Dehradun to taking a trip to Mussoorie and Rishikesh, dancer and actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh say that he had some amazing time in Uttarakhand.
Alok Ulfat theater artist from Doon, who participated in the Rang Himalaya festival that was organised from October 7 to 12 in the city said that, India is known for its diversity. And this week, with this festival,we will celebrate our country’s diverse cultures, music and dance forms.”
A team of professional dancers including actor-dancers and choreographers, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh came from Mumbai to participate in the event.The group gave a powerful performance where they presented a fusion of various dance forms. Different musicians from across the state also participated in the event along with the Dehradun Drum Circle group who participated in a drumming session.
Adding to this Alok Ulfat said, “This festival is a small but an important attempt to bring children,youngsters and elders together on a single platform to showcase their skills.”
Kunwar performed as well as inspired Doon crowd for their passion in life. On asking him about the performance he said, “I am glad that I came here to participate in this festival. Meeting all these people and performing with them has been a fantastic experience for me. This is the first time I am staying in Doon and I am impressed by the energy of youngsters here. I also got a chance to participate in a dance and acting workshop with young Doonites. It was a fun experience.”
