Padmavati Controversy : Madhuri Dixit-Nene said Violence Is Unjustified, Unacceptable…..Violence is not the Answer!

The Magnum opus Padmavati has been in news since the first-day of the shoot and many political groups have targeted the film.  First, the film’s set was attacked in Jaipur, and after much debate, Bhansali shifted his shoot to Kohla pur. Here, again the sets were attacked by petrol bombs thrown by fringe groups protesting against the film. Now rajput karni Sena Members have threatened the makers that they will not allow the film to be released.

In this Episode many celebrities come in defence to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Now Madhuri Dixit nene come in defence to the movie and said, “Well, I don’t think it harms Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s creativity as he is a creative person and he will give the best on-screen. These are external factors which a lot of times film-makers have to deal with. I hope there is some solution and violence is not the answer. It’s all about love and that’s how it should be solved”.

The film stars Deepika Padukone as the Mewar Queen, Shahid Kapoor as her husband Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. Padmavati is slated to release on December 1.
