These days the Bollywood industry has started giving importance to the sports personality by making a movie on them and also let the world be aware of their struggle. In the last two years, we have seen Movie like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sachin: A quite Dreams. The movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag talked about Milkha Singh or the ‘Flying Sikh’ overcomes many suffering difficulties to become a world champion, that too an Olympian and one of India’s most iconic athletes. In recent past, we saw Sachin A Million Dreams which brought out a different aspect of his life and journey from being a naughtiest child to a most loved sportsperson.

Here we hope to watch biopics of these cricketers and will surely break all box office records.

Yuvraj Singh is one most loved sportsperson in our country and who has who brought Indian Cricket two World cups.  He has been a role model for the whole nation and has a special corner in heart of cricket fans globally. The ace cricketer had a tough childhood as his parents separated when he was quiet young. He survived cancer and the way he fought back to earn his place in the Indian team is truly motivating.  As a result, we feel his story is worth sharing and we are quite excited to watch the movie. Ranbir Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, and Arjun Kapoor have expressed to play him in the biopic.


It’s high time we get to see a biopic on Life Saurav Ganguly who restored faith an positivity in the hearts of his team and fans alike. Prince of Kolkata gave self-believe to win matches overseas under his captaincy. Former Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag during his retirement speech had a special message for his favorite captain, Sourav Ganguly and was quoted saying that, he wouldn’t have succeeded as an opener if the former Indian captain hadn’t sacrificed his opening spot in One-Day Internationals. He also added that “Ganguly sacrificed his place to allow me to open with Sachin Tendulkar. I am the luckiest one as Ganguly had the love for me and had confidence in me, Initially, I was seen only as a one-day cricketer but Ganguly backed me and gave me the opportunity for which I will always be thankful to him till the time I am associated with cricket.” The Biopic will also give an opportunity for fans to now details about His captaincy skills and achievements and then his return to the international circuit.

Kapil Dev is one of the most loved cricketers in the country and one of the reason being, he is an inspiration to the whole nation. He and his team created history by reaching the final of the 1983 World Cup at Lord’s and defeating West Indies in the final. Ranveer Singh is all set into step into the shoes of Kapil Dev as he will be featuring in the biopic movie. But it will play more emphasis on the 1983 World Cup, where Team India won the cup for the first time under Dev’s captaincy and created history. The movie is all set to be directed by Kabir Khan and Ranveer Singh is all set to essay the role of a legendary cricketer.

Virender Sehwag is fondly known as ‘Viru’ or Nawab Of Najafgarh. Virender Sehwag has been one of the most destructive openers and a nightmare for the bowlers. He has gone to score over 17,000 international runs to his name. He has that eligibility to hit even the first ball of the match to out of the ground. He also holds rare feet of scoring two triple centuries in test cricket and one double hundred in ODI. A while back if he would like to see a biopic on him and was quoted saying that, “Let’s see. Shayad koi mujh par bhi paisa laga de. I hope someone, somewhere, someday will invest in my biopic also.”
