One of the highest-paid actresses of industry and daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor extends warm wishes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his film Padmaavat. After many controversies ‘Padmaavat’ is all set to release on January 25. Sonam Kapoor who who made her debut with Bhansali’s “Saawariya” in 2007 said that She haven’t worked with him for 10 years since my first film released.
She stated,” I wish him all the best for his film. I hope the film releases and I won’t wish this (protest) on anybody.”
Her next movie ‘Padman’ is also clash with ‘Padmaavat’. The film written and directed by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles and cameo appearance by Amitabh Bachchan, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu.
Padman actress said,” There is lot of stigma attached to menstrual hygiene and hopefully a film like this will change the mindset of people to an extent and even create awareness. I hope India is progressing towards a better future.”

The film was initially planned to be released on 13 April 2018, but was later moved to 26 January 2018. After Padman Sonam’s next film will be ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
