Varun Dhawan Calls 2017 His Best Year And looking Forward To 2018!

Varun Dhawan had a quite successful 2017 at the box office as his last two movies  ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Judwaa 2’ were successful at the box office. Varun Dhawan has recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film ‘October’ which is being directed by Shoojit Sircar.

Varun Dhawan will next be seen sharing screen space for the first time will be paired opposite Anushka Sharma in Yash Raj Film’s new production, Sui Dhaaga — Made in India. The said project will be directed by Sharat Katariya who earlier had directed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha.  As per sources the movie co-producer Maneesh Sharma and director had approached Ranbir Kapoor to play the lead role. Student of the year actor was quoted saying that, “As of now, my next release is October. It’ll be followed by Sui Dhaaga. After that, a really big film is lined up. Everything else will happen later in the future.”

A while back speculation has started that Varun Dhawan is reuniting with her father once again for a movie. The movie in question is another remake Hero  No 1 which featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.  Varun cleared the air and was quoted saying that “such stories will keep coming out now.”

But Main Tera Hero actor added that he would love to work on Biwi No. 1 remake and said that, “A film on extramarital affairs definitely interests me. There’s a lot of matter and content (in such roles). There’s nothing worth discussing now. If it’s green-lighted, we’ll announce it.”

If reports are to believe he will be doing the Hindi remake of Telugu superhit Arjun Reddy. The source close to the project was quoted saying that,  “The film is currently being scripted and will be amended to suit Bollywood’s audience. It revolves around a philandering, alcoholic, drug addict, a surgeon who falls in love with an innocent medical student. Dhawan, who is currently busy with YRF’s Sui Dhaaga, will have to sport a leaner look for the part.”
The said project will be helmed by Sandeep Vanga. The shooting of the movie will all set to go on floors by mid-2018. On the work front, Varun Dhawan is these days busy getting into the skin of his character for his upcoming movie film Sui Dhaaga – Made In India.  October is slated to release on April 13, 2018.
