Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan are currently busy shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming directorial Kedarnath. As per a report in a leading daily, KriArj Entertainment headed by Prernaa Arora and Arjun will no more produce Kedarnath along with Abhishek’s Guy In The Sky Pictures and Ekta Kapoor’s home production.
Sources close to the director revealed that due to default of payments and lack of transparency, Abhishek Kapoor’s production house has decided to end the fairly new association. Kedarnath has been in news from the time the project was announced. There were reports making the rounds that Prernaa is unhappy with the fact that the film will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero on December 21, 2018.
Kedarnath is a love story set against the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. Earlier director Abhishek said, “In my house, spirituality has been a guiding principle. I am a big believer of Shivji and the cosmic forces that oversee us. There are two kinds of people in the spiritual world — believers and seekers. A believer has trust in the universe and a seeker is someone who is trying to gain that trust. I’ve been both, and I have had some great experiences spiritually. I’m originally a seeker, but at times, I’ve found myself fully immersed in God.”
Kedarnath, that comes with a tagline “Love is a Pilgrimage”, is scheduled to hit the screens on December 21, 2018.
