If some criticised the film for its mysogynistic nature, others loved the bromance between Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh. Despite the mixed reviews from critics, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2018 so far. The film crossed the Rs 100-crore mark, despite competiton from films like Raid, Pari and Hichki.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, said it has been an “incredible first quarter” for the studio.”As a studio we are backing differentiated content and the results over the last one year have been very gratifying. We have started 2018 on a very good note,” Singh said.
