The Bombay High Court has not provided any relief to Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the AIB Roast Case.
The court rejected the petition of both the actors and set April 3 as the next date of hearing in the case.The actors were taken into criticism after they used abusive and obscene language.
The show was alleged to be “vulgar, obscene…pornographic.”On December 20, 2014, Singh and Kapoor, along with 10 other celebrities, including Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, and members of the AIB team, had performed at a charity event in Worli area here.The video of the event was uploaded on YouTube a year later and it went viral.
Various actors have been granted interim relief including Deepika ,Karan johar. Ranveer and Arjun say that and allege that that the FIRs against them bore an ulterior motive.They also alleged that the FIRs were filed with a “mischievous” and mala fide intent, and sought that the same be quashed.
Bench of Bombay high court has granted relief to some actors and no action will be takein against them until furthur orders.
