Zaira Wasim is all set to play Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter in Shonali Bose’s next!

Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra are all set to reunite on screen once again, the actors have worked before in movies such as Dostana and Bluffmaster to name a few. As per latest development, the two actors will be seen in Shonali Bose’s next project. Shonali made her debut with Margarita with a Straw which featured Kalki Koechlin which was well received by critics and fans alike.
A source close to the unit said the movie is based on the life story of Aisha Chaudhary. Those who don’t know Aisha was an inspirational orator who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at a very young age of just 13. But this didn’t deter her spirits and went on to release a book –

. The young author also gave many motivational speeches and lecture. But the author breathed her last on January 24, 2015, at the age of 18.

Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the role of Aisha Parents. For some time the makers have been looking for an actor to play the role of Aisha and as per latest development Dangal actress, Zaira Wasim is all set to l play the role of the courageous young girl.

A source close to unit revealed that “Zaira really liked the script and has given her nod to the project. Shonali is currently busy with the pre-production and is hoping to start shooting by the middle of this year in Mumbai. Priyanka and Abhishek will play parents to Zaira’s character.”

A while back secret superstar actor Zaira Wasim has revealed she has been fighting with depression and has been suffering for some time with acute anxiety “for a very long time”. The actress took to social media to confirm the news and wrote, “I’m writing this to (finally) admit and confess that I, for a very long time have been suffering from severe anxiety and depression. It’s almost been four years and I’ve always been embarrassed and scared to admit it not only because of the stigma that goes around with the word depression but most importantly because of always being told that ‘You’re too young to be depressed’ or ‘It’s just a phase'”.

On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen Anurag Kashyap Manmarziyan and will be seen sharing screen space with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. While on the other end, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar where she will be seen sharing space with Salman Khan and Disha Patani.
