#FIFAWorldCup2018: John Abraham is supporting Germany, says he would like to invest money in the team !!

John Abraham latest release Parmanu got good response from the audience. After the success of his film, he is all ready to enjoy the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018. Owner of the Indian Super League (ISL) football team NorthEast United FC. In a talk with a daily laeding, John expressed his desire to put his money on the football team of Germany. He said, “I support North-East United FC. Oh sorry, that’s my team in ISL (laughs). I support my country. Why would I support another country? But in terms of some of the attractive teams, I think Germany is a team that I would like to put my money on.”

Handsome John Abraham is a popular Indian actor. He started his career with Pankaj Udhas album Mahek. He debut in Bollywood opposite Bipasha Basu in Zism directed by Pooja Bhatt. Later he got fame with Dhoom starring Uday Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Rimi Sen and Esha Deol. He has also worked as producer and his first movie Vicky donor as a producer hits the box office.

John Abraham has big female fan following with his HOT body and killer laugh lines he managed to look good in any frame. He is right now busy with his next movie Parmanu. Some of his famous movies are – Zism, Saaya, Dhoom, Dostana, Viruddh, Force, Rocky Handsome. He also owns a football team called NorthEast United FC.

One of the very few actors in Bollywood who enjoy a credit in showcasing India in sports, John Abraham was himself an aspirer of being in Football and was almost a part of the Indian national team, when Bollywood and Modelling grabbed his eye.

On asking about his football love and owning a team he said, Cricket, for starters, has out priced itself. The game has reached a saturation point [in India]. I don’t know if anyone should go there (buy a cricket team). Maybe I will think about it (buying another sports team) if an interesting offer comes up. But, right now, it’s all about Football for me.

John Abraham’s team NorthEast United FC is based in Guwahati and represents eight Indian states of North East India – Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura.

John has been closely involved with his team ISL. The Assam government even assured to lend him support for setting up a Football academy in Guwahati for aspiring footballers of India.
